You Can Open Doors in the New Year

With partner agencies across the region, we are hoping to end LGBTQ+ youth homeless by 2020. It’s a tall order, but working together, each agency will bring their expertise to the table. JASMYN’s unique specialty is meeting every young person right where they are. We apply solutions as unique as each youth to build resilience, no matter what barriers they face.

JASMYN’s new Safety Net Resource Center will open even more doors for each young person who finds their way to JASMYN with no other place to go. With your help, campus renovations will add a laundry room and private showers, a kitchen for hot meals, mailboxes for each young person receiving housing support, and counseling rooms.

Give securely online today, or check out others ways to support JASMYN young people on our website. No matter how you give, we are grateful to be working with you to open doors for young people experiencing homelessness.

#Grateful – Largest Breakfast to Date

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 11th Annual Coming Out Day Breakfast our best yet!

Just over a month ago, Nearly 600 folks joined us to honor the companies and organizations that are making Jacksonville a safer and more inclusive place for LGBTQ+ young people. Take a look at some of the folks who helped make it special in our photo album – tag yourself, your company, and your friends!

During the program, we also heard from young people experiencing homelessness and from experts working to solve it. In reviews of the day, the video was judged the most memorable part of the program. It is now uploaded for viewing online, and we are excited to share the link below. Click on the image below to open the video on our YouTube channel:
