Testing Makes Us Stronger
JASMYN is kicking off its new HIV testing night with the help of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) new HIV testing campaign: Testing Makes Us Stronger! JASMYN will be open for HIV testing every 1st Wednesday of each month from 4-7 PM
for FREE (orasure) HIV Testing. Additional testing nights can be found on JASMYN’s youth calendar.
Testing Makes Us Stronger helps spread the message “everyone has a role to play”. As individuals – Get tested, know your status and talk about HIV with friends and family. As a community – Tackle the discrimination, stigma and homophobia that fuel the HIV epidemic among black gay men. As a nation – Work to advance the goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy by increasing HIV prevention efforts and reducing disparities in the U.S. HIV epidemic.
