About JASMYN

The Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network is a non-profit youth organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth ages 13-23.

JASMYN provides a safe space, support, leadership development, HIV prevention and recreational opportunities to youth 13-23. All youth are welcome at JASMYN!

Mission

The Mission of the Jacksonville Area Sexual Minority Youth Network (JASMYN) is to support and empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth by creating safe space, providing youth development services and bringing people and resources together to promote diversity and human rights.

Vision

JASMYN’s vision is to create a world where young people are respected, valued to be themselves.

JASMYN’s Guiding Principles

  • Integrity - We work for social changes in our own lives, through JASMYN’s work, and in the life of our community.

  • Partnership - We seek opportunities to collaborate and convene others to promote the safety, well-being, and human rights of LGBTQ youth.
