Welcome!

JASMYN is a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ teens in Northeast Florida looking for community, support, and fun programs. No matter your sexual orientation or gender identity, you’ll find a place here that’s safe, affirming, and designed just for you. We offer monthly programs for teens ages 13-17, including one-on-one support, peer groups, and social events where you can connect with others. Thinking about starting a Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) at your school?

We’re here to help with that, too!

Our programs are drop-in, so no need to RSVP—just show up! If you let us know you’re coming at jasmynteen@jasmyn.org, we’ll have plenty of supplies and snacks ready for you. Not sure if JASMYN is right for you? We’d love to give you a tour so you can check out the space and meet our team—just reach out to set one up. For dates and details, check out our teen calendar.

We can’t wait to see you!

JASMYN’s Discord server was created during the COVID lockdown to keep LGBTQIA+ teens connected, and it continues to be a virtual space where teens can build community no matter where they are. Moderated by JASMYN staff and supported by teen intern moderators, the server offers a safe and welcoming environment for connection and support. If you're interested in joining or learning about leadership opportunities, email jasmynteen@jasmyn.org.

  • Mental Health Services

Free Your Mind Drop-In is a chill, no-pressure space for LGBTQIA+ teens ages 13-17 to focus on mental wellness. Hosted by our Mental Health Services team and community partners, this program offers one-on-one counseling and connections to mental health resources—with parental consent. Whether you need support or just want to check in, we’re here for you. Drop in and take care of your mind—you deserve it!

  • Health Services

Our Health Services team offers STI and HIV testing for young people ages 13 and up in a safe, confidential clinical setting through our partnership with the Florida Department of Health/Duval County. Under Florida law, teens 13 and older can consent to testing on their own, ensuring they have access to the care they need. Our services are designed to meet each young person where they are, providing support that respects their age and developmental stage.
