JASMYN provides a variety of life-saving health services for LGBTQIA+ young adults ages 18 - 29. JASMYN is a resource for LGBTQIA+ young adults who wish to engage in programs and seek services at JASMYN. We welcome everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, in a place that is uniquely sensitive, respectful and responsive to LGBTQIA+ young adults, youth of color, and young adults seeking community and experiencing challenges in their lives.

  • Sexual Health Clinic (SHC)

    JASMYN’s Sexual Health Clinic (SHC) is open every Thursday to provide a safe, affirming space for young adults.

    🕒 Clinic Hours:

    Doors open at 4 PM (HIV testing begins immediately; providers are available starting at 5 PM)

    Last appointment is typically taken around 7:15 PM

    The SHC is proudly supported by the Florida Department of Health in Duval County.

  • Care Coordination

    JASMYN’s care coordination services connect young adults with the resources they need to stay healthy and supported. We provide linkage to HIV medical care and PrEP, a prevention option for HIV-negative individuals. Our team also offers risk reduction counseling and access to essential safety net services, including bus passes, a food pantry, and a computer lab. Whether you're seeking medical care, prevention options, or everyday support, we're here to help.

  • Peer Support Coordinator Internship Program

    JASMYN’s 8-month, paid internship offers LGBTQ young adults (18-29) with lived HIV experience the chance to develop professional skills while leading peer programming and supporting our Health Services Team. This opportunity is ideal for current or former JASMYN clients looking to gain experience in nonprofit work, youth services, and HIV advocacy.

HIV Home Testing Program

Self Testing for HIV in the comfort of the space you choose gives you the choice to test in private at any time that is good for you, while choosing what level of help you want from us.

  • Young adults ages 18-29 who meet all of the following criteria:

    • Lives in Jacksonville, FL

    • Are not currently living with HIV/AIDS

    • Have not tested positive for HIV in the past

  • Please fill out our brief form to request your HIV Self-Test Kit delivery. Our team will reach out to you between 12 PM - 6 PM, Monday - Friday to arrange the delivery.

    • 1 HIV self-test (OraQuick oral rapid test)

    • Follow-up instructions on how to request support from JASMYN

    • Condoms and lube

    • Resources about PrEP & STI testing

  • An HIV Self-Test is a test you do on your own, but we’re here to support you however you need! You choose the level of support that works best for you.

    We can deliver the test directly to you in person or drop it off at a location you choose within Jacksonville, FL. Just make sure the test doesn’t sit outside or in a mailbox for more than 5 minutes to keep it in good condition.

    We will even wait in our vehicle while you take the test and be available to answer any questions once you're done. If you need help, you can always call us between 12 - 6 PM using the number provided in your JASMYN instructions. We’re here for you!

  • If you would rather test at JASMYN, drop in to see us during our daily testing hours or schedule an appointment if needed (no appointment is necessary if you arrive during our regularly scheduled testing hours).
